Looking for something fun to do this half term? Join us at Grocer 35 for a hands-on Halloween cupcake baking class, where little bakers will learn how to make and decorate their very own spooky treats from scratch.

The session begins with a demonstration from The Grocer Bakery's Head of Cakes, Jenny, who creates the cupcakes and sweet bakes sold across all of our Grocer shops. Children will learn how we make our signature cupcakes before getting hands-on and decorating their own Halloween creations. They'll create four spooky designs: a ghost, witch's hat, spiderweb and pumpkin, before boxing them up to take home and enjoy.

With aprons provided and a complimentary juice included, children can enjoy getting creative while learning new baking skills. At the end of the workshop, they'll take home their cupcakes, a copy of Jenny's cupcake recipe so they can recreate them at home, and a certificate signed by Jenny.

For Parents

Parents and guardians are welcome to roll up their sleeves and join in the fun with their little bakers, or simply sit back and relax in the café while the workshop takes place. Tea, coffee and other refreshments will be available to purchase from the counter before the class begins.
